The Future of Dining: Restaurant Industry Trends for 2026



I can remember (not so many years ago), when you went into a Grocery shop, the owner got the item you requested, and put it in your shopping basket. Likewise the Butchers, Greengrocers etc. And buying petrol was the same, you were served by the Garage Attendant, who you paid. Paying bills meant queuing up at the bank and paying the bill over the counter, and train tickets meant queuing and were issued at the Ticket Desk. But all of this has now changed.

So what has happened in the Dining Industry over the past several decades? Practically nothing!

Now there is AI Table Service™ - a new program that solves all the Point of Sale problems in the food and drinks industry in one A.I. Application.

Some restaurants have made attempts at getting into the 21st century by issuing the table staff with menu tablets or phone apps and installing special electronic touch screen tills on the counter where your bill can be prepared, but they fall short of solving the problems with bottlenecks. I will just point out two in this article.

The first customer irritation is that whatever the Table Service staff have been issued with, you still have to attract their attention before anything begins to happen. You might say thats fine - until you want to ask for the next course or pay the bill !!.

The second customer irritation is obvious - no communication between what food you ordered and the creation of the bill because the person creating the bill at the counter invariably has to re-key in what you ordered (often getting it wrong). You see the system on the counter does not communicate with anything else it merely records sales on its touch screen. Your original order only actually went to the kitchen. Thats two customer irritations - there are many others.

This used to be a major problem and a problem that customers had to put up with.
But now there is a solution with the Table Service Tracker™. It has three operating modes, "Order", "Tracker" and "Message", So as soon as the customer sits down and uses the system, a two way communications channel is set up between the customers table number and all the Restaurant Staff. With this, customers can place their orders directly, track the progress of the order and receive and send messages to and from the kitchen and the restaurant staff, then requesting the next course, asking for more ketchup, requesting the bill is only the click of a button.

But it does not end there. Menu editing options, table reservations, Restaurant reviews, User Help on every page and lots more. A.I. Table Sevice™ Review from a customers perspective



I am a London City based Journalist working for a National Daily - Work load is high and time is low. As a result lunch is often sandwiches and a cofee, because a meal in a Restaurant invariably overruns an hour.

I decided to try out a local restaurant in the city that is now using the new A.I. Table Service™ system.

On my phone, after selecting the establishment name from the list (so I would get the correct menu), I was told that the table was reserved, but not untill 7.30 that evening. WOW what a start !. I selected my entire meal and the order was sent directly to the kitchen. I received a Tracker Message™ and promptly switched the phone to tracker mode. I wasn't sure what would happen next, but then everything started to happen !!

Within minutes a waiter arrived with the drink I ordered. Minutes later a tracker message told me my starter was on its way. So far so good?

I finished my starter and pressed to "Request Next Course" button. Again minutes later the main course arrived. I was now in a state of shock. I wanted some extra ketchup. This also was handled almost immediately by using the "Send Message" button. Then when I finished my main course, I hit the "Send Next Course". The same happened again. I was notified when my desrt was ready and it arrived shortly after that. I actually forgot to order coffee, but no problem, back onto "Menu mode" and I sent my coffee request. The best part of all of this was when I selected the "Orders" tab on my screen, there was my complete order. Then after hitting the "Request Pay Bill", it was available on my phone "Bill" tab. The waiter arrived at my table and took my money. No rushing, no grief, no frustration. All this in just over 45 minutes - WOW A BRAND NEW WORLD !!
